The Wall Prophets

Was a visual expression from the viewing public on Violence in America: Yes or No. The viewers messages were placed on paper targets (9 ½ x 7). The targets were arranged on a wall board with push pins forming a visual whole. Participants used marks-a- lots or crayons. The activity recalled the Poor Peoples Campaign held in Washington D.C. 1968 when a graffiti wall called Hungers Wall was placed in Resurrection City for participants to express themselves. Violence in America weighs heavily upon us. Today guns are readily available to anyone willing to buy them.
